We just want to get every single item right. When your delivery arrives, we want you to feel it was done with the same care as you would have taken, had you been shopping. For us, it’s personal. Our shoppers will fill your order with the greatest care, and it will be delivered by a driver who aims for perfection.

Riding Hood is a concierge level, touchless grocery grocery delivery system. We are the exclusive delivery service for Guido’s Fresh Marketplace in Great Barrington, the area’s most beloved food emporium.

Covid 19 - What We Do

Riding Hood takes health very seriously. Our health, is your health, is The Berkshire’s health. We practice good hygiene by consistently washing our hands or by using hand sanitizer. We follow CDC guidelines for safety, so our shoppers and drivers are required to wear masks.

Our employees practice social distancing in the store, and take care outside of the workplace. We are a small, dedicated team whose free time is spent locally, with our families.

Guido’s takes great care in keeping shoppers safe. Of course, masks are required. Occupancy is limited and enforced by a staff member at the store entrance. Carts are wiped with sanitizer when they are returned, and hand sanitizer is offered, by dispenser, at the door.

How It Works

  1. Create An Account with Riding Hood Fill in your personal and delivery information. Add information to your profile that you think will help us be better shoppers for you.
  2. Choose Your Items Follow the prompts through the ordering process. Type selections, as specifically as you can. Our form is very similar to writing a grocery list. Our shoppers will make every effort to fulfill your list perfectly. If there are questions or doubts, your shopper will contact you.
  3. Submit Your Order Once you click ‘submit’ your order is sent to Riding Hood and is scheduled for your chosen delivery day. When your order is checked out, it is paid for at the register with a Riding Hood credit card. Immediately after, you will receive an email with the register amount and a ‘Shopping Summary’ detailing which items were successfully shopped, which items were unavailable and if there were any substitutions (with your permission.) Within the next 24 hours your credit card will be charged the register amount, plus corresponding fees. You will receive a detailed receipt by email, at that time.
